New owners for Heat Cheerleading!

13 Nov 2017 by Bronwyn Morgan

Hi Heat Cheerleading families

Just in case you missed the announcement at the Showcase yesterday, I am excited, and more than a little bit sad, to advise that Heat Cheerleading will come under new ownership/management in 2018.

From 1 January 2018, Franc Inglewski and Talitha Baldwin from Boss Elite Industries will become the new owners/managers of Heat Cheerleading.

Many of you will be familiar with Talitha, she has run school holiday cheerleading camps here in the ACT previously, and ran cheerleader development workshops for Heat Cheerleading in 2015.

There will be no changes to the way Heat Cheerleading will operate in Term 4 2017. Cheerleaders will attend training sessions as per the current timetable and participate in Nationals and he End of Year Celebrations.

Talitha and Franc will be taking some of the tumble classes on Sundays for the remainder of the term to introduce themselves and get to know our cheerleaders and families.

What will happen in 2018?
Talitha and Franc will send out an Info Pack in the next few days and will also hold a parent information session on Sunday 19 November at 5.30pm. The info session will be held outside so that Scorch’s final training session before Nationals and Pinnacle is not interrupted. They will also hold Team Placement days on Sat 9 Dec and Thu 14 Dec.

Talitha, Franc and I will work together to ensure a seamless transition for our cheerleaders.

I have absolutely loved my time at the helm of Heat Cheerleading, getting to know our cheerleaders and families. The dedication of the Heat coaches is second to none and this shows in the progress and development of our cheerleaders. I think the time is right for me to pass Heat Cheerleading on, and I know Talitha and Franc will bring more experience and a higher level of cheerleading skill to continue developing our cheerleaders.

Paul, Danielle and I look forward to taking this opportunity to spend some time travelling around Australia in Paul’s new caravan in 2018 before settling in our new home in Sawtell in 2019.

I know I am leaving Heat Cheerleading in good hands!

Cheers
Bronwyn
